Problem Summary

Alexandria wanted to expand their B2B platform into a marketplace that allows emerging artists to upload, showcase, and sell their work. The challenge was to create an intuitive, visually appealing platform that caters to artists, buyers, and B2B clients while maintaining the brand’s modern, community-driven essence.

Project Highlights

User-Centered Design

I conducted user interviews and surveys to gather insights from artists, collectors, and curators. Based on the findings, I created personas, user flows, and prioritized features to align with user needs and business goals. To enhance the discovery experience, I designed a personalized recommendation feature.

Visual and Interaction Design

I developed a cohesive design system incorporating modern typography and a refined color palette. The interface featured intuitive navigation, profile customization, and interactive elements to encourage user engagement. Additionally, I applied accessibility best practices, including high contrast ratios and screen reader compatibility.

Prototyping and Testing

I built a high-fidelity prototype to showcase user journeys and key interactions. Usability testing validated the design, with positive feedback highlighting usability and aesthetics. I integrated user feedback to refine the final product.

The redesigned Alexandria platform offers a seamless and engaging experience for artists and collectors, fostering a sense of community while maintaining a modern and professional aesthetic.
